What are the tests recommended for my dog annually?
To simplify things, there are 2 major factors deciding what your dog should be tested for: age and medical history, or condition. On your first visit, we will analyze these and choose an optimal strategy. We will keep an eye out for dangers while keeping it light on your wallet. What are the common things my pet needs to be vaccinated for, and how often?
Mature dogs usually need annual vaccinations, though not every vaccine is the same. E.g. rabies and distemper vaccines are usually boosted every 1 to 3 years after the initial vaccinations as a puppy. On the other hand, vaccines for diseases like Lyme disease, leptospirosis, kennel cough (caused by Bordetella), and canine flu are administered annually.
